Rotary Club of Cape Henry
GOALS
for Years 2005-2006

Club Service:

Create a membership recruitment plan to achieve  net increase of 2 members by April 1 2006.

Invite club members to bring their partners and/or children to a club meeting or event on several occasions.

Welcome and include non-Rotarian family members into the family of Rotary through service and fellowship activities.

Recognize a club member who has contributed most to the four avenues of service for the Four Avenues of Service Citation Award.

Use e-mail more to remind members to invite a prospective member.

Community Service

Contribute to local charities to improve community well being

Ensure that a significant number of club members and their partners participate in new service projects.

Participate in the Lynnhaven River 2007 Project. (Oyster Growing and Planting)

International Service

Participate in at least one PolioPlus or PolioPlus Partners Project. (Bowl-a-thon)
Achieve the Every Rotarian, Every Year Goal of $100 or more per capita in the Annual Programs contributions.

Contribute to a Rotary literacy, water resources, or health project.

Develop and initiate a new project in support of international service.

Vocational Service

Present all new and current club members with a copy of the Declaration of Rotarians in Business and Professions.

Sponsor a day for Rotarians to bring young people to their place of business to share career opportunities. (Job-Shadowing)

Nominate, to the District Governor, a community member as a candidate for the Rotary Centennial Service Award for Professional Excellence.
