About Our Club
Our Club was founded in March 1984 with 33 members. Three members of the
Virginia Beach Rotary Club were responsible for launching our Club. One, Dan
Dickenson, was our first President. His contribution is honored by our annual
donation to the Dan Dickenson Scholarship Fund at Virginia Wesleyan College. We
presently have 5 members, including 16 women. 58 of our members
have e-mail addresses.Our Club's motto is "ACTION AND FUN". Rotary
International says "SERVICE ABOVE SELF". The business men and women
of Cape Henry Rotary are strongly committed to both.
